Hi, we’re Evan Mazzitelli and Grace Simpson, co-founders of The Cape Collective—an event planning and design company based in Cape May, New Jersey, with a vision to expand throughout the state.

Our connection to Cape May runs deeper than business—it’s personal. Grace is originally from Nashville, Tennessee, but has spent her summers in Cape May for as long as she can remember. With family roots in New Jersey, her grandparents’ Victorian home—passed down through generations for nearly 100 years—has made Cape May a place filled with lasting memories and meaning. Today, she proudly calls it home.

Evan, originally from Yardley, Pennsylvania, also has strong family roots in Cape May, with many of his family members living there today. His connection to the community, both past and present, has shaped his appreciation for the town and its traditions.

Our inspiration for creating The Cape Collective comes from a deep appreciation for what Cape May has always meant to us—a place filled with tradition, connection, and unforgettable moments. We wanted to take that feeling and bring it to others.

Through every event we design, our goal is to create timeless experiences and lasting memories—moments that feel just as meaningful as the ones we’ve grown up with and that remain with you long after the event is over.
